THE CONDITION OF MULLAPERIYAR DAM
Mullaperiyar dam is the oldest dam in kerala.It is situated in idukki district.But keralites feared about this dam now, because the conditon of this dam is very poor now.We can see so many cracks in this dam.Dam water could be seeping down the foundation and through the gap between the old dam and the concreate backing.Many commaties learn about this old dam but no body take a good action for this matter.Because the 70% benefit of this dam is gone to tamilnadu.They had not acted on kerala's suggestions.
Kerala minister for water resources P J Joseph is convening a meeting of officials on today to decide on future cource of action.Its better to doing an unique meeting of Tamil nadu and kerala officials in the presence of officials in india.The team of kerala met the prime minister of india Dr Manmohan singh.,reffered to a tremor on the dam site.The prime minister agreed to the need to ensure the safty of people and an early settlement of the row between the kerala and tamil nadu.
If the concern persons of kerala and tamil nadu not taken a quick action about this matter,the after effect of kerala state is very bad situation.It cause to the death of 30 lacks of people lived in kerala.The collapse of mullaperiyar dam will make the desert place.
The meeting held on Wednesday proposed that the water level of the mullaperiyar dam should be reduced to 120 feet to minimise the possibility of collapse.Water resources minister P J Joseph and revenue minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan are in charge of disaster management.They already met the prime minister of India and discuss the matter.He replied positively.He will meet the Chief Ministers of Kerala and Tamilnadu.
The case file of the mullaperiyar dam issue is in the hand of supreme cort.Cort ordered to the government of kerala to take an action to prevent the disaster in an urgent basis.Tamilnadu chief minister Jayalalitha didn't like the requests of kerala about the mullaperiyar dam issue,besause they fear about the kerala's actions.Kerala will gives water after built the new dam ,but they didn't agreed.Why? That is the questions of kerala people.
The condition of mullaperiyar dam is very poor.So many seepage in the dam wall.Really it is a water bomb.Tamil nadu government must take an positive action about the mullaperiyar issue.Keralites and Tamilans are like brothers but this issue will be collapse the heart of peoples and dam also.....
Because of the mulleperiyar dam issue Tamil government didn't allow to release Dam999the Hollywood cinema.It is a beautiful realistic cinema.Tamil people must see this movie for to take a good decision.Why are you fear about the construction of new dam.The kerala government already promised to you ,they will give the water from the mullaperiyar dam.So take a good action to protect the 35 lacks life.Tamilnadu government must understand the importance of life.
The oldst gravity dam built on 1896 is stil running even after its expry date of 50 yrs,means 63 extra yrs,now the dam is on the verge of Explosn, If that happens it will be the biggest tragdy in the WORLD histry, lakhs of peoples in Middle Kerala will flow down to Arabian sea with in minitus, Since our leadrs are not aware of this danger, be ready to face this WATER BOMB which will finish God's Own country for ever.
If the mullaperiyar dam collapse lakhs of peoples in kerala will die.This demo will help the importance of kerala's argues.The Tamilnadu government must give that importance to life.Life is an important thing than the water.Urgently take a decision about this matter,because its will be leads to war between kerala and tamilnadu people.So take a good decision in positive sense.
